10:00 AM - 4:00 PM    Living Shores Aquarium Field Trip - Living Shore Aquarium
Pack a lunch and lets go check out the living Shores Aquarium in Glen NH. If you are under the age of 14 you must be accompanied by an adult.New England’s newest hands-on experience, Living Shores Aquarium at Story Land, a year round indoor walk through adventure that will captivate you! Over 32,000 sq. ft. of interactive tide pools, exhibits and activities. See otters, touch sting rays, interact with tropical birds and so much more.

5:00 PM - 6:00 PM    Learn To Skate - Learn to Skate
Come learn the fundamentals of the sport, Such as forward and Backwards skating and some turns edges and crossovers. We might begin to incorporate beginner jumps and spins.Helmets are highly encouraged
 
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM    Stick Practice - Stick Practice
This is a fun recreational hockey skate for children age 8 and up. Children under 18 must wear full equipment and 18 and over must wear helmets.

11:30 AM - 4:00 PM    Senior BINGO - Senior BINGO - No registration necessary
Games are held at the New Durham Elementary School. Doors open at 11:30 (with concessions served) and games begin at 1PM. BINGO is run September through July with a break in August.Open to the general public ages 55+. To play a full set of games cost $5. An additional game to benefit the New Durham Food Pantry costs $1 or a canned food item. Winners of this game receive a "Free Game" to be used at a future date. Additional raffles are available.Concessions are are available for purchase by various local groups and residents for fundraising efforts. We encourage our participants to bring a healthy appetite to support these wonderful groups!Additional notes on BINGO:Parking is available in front and behind the school.Smoking is not allowed on school property.Recreation Staff are unable to unlock the front doors of the school during the event. We will do our best to assist those who want to take a break outside during intermission but will not leave the doors propped open.Should BINGO be canceled due to bad weather or other circumstances, the announcement will be posted online, on our phone line and submitted to WMUR as appropriate.
 
5:30 PM - 7:00 PM    Teen adventure group - Teen adventure group
The teen adventure program will be held at the community room on the first Thursday of each month. Starting in October 3rd at 5:30 to 7pm. This program will offer a wide variety of activities, games, cooking, foosball, darts, trips and more to meet the needs of our group. On the first night we will cook a spaghetti dinner and plan our groups activities.

1st Annual ice Fishing Derby Saturday, March 7th*Club pond at Farmington Fish and GameWeigh-In will be at Club pond until 2pm sharp!64 Old Bay Road, New DurhamENTRY FEE:Adults & Children $10Heaviest fish in the following categories:*Pickerel*Yellow perch*Black Crappie 2020 Ice Fishing Derby Rules1. All anglers must comply with NH Fish & Game laws.2. The registered ticket holder must legally and freshly catch fish from The New Durham Club Pond only.3. A registration ticket and valid NH fishing license will be required for identification when entering fish and claiming prizes.4. Weight at time of entry determines the winner. In the case of a tie, length shall be the determining factor. Girth will be the final tie breaker.5. Derby officials will weigh your fish on the pond. This is a catch and release derby. Derby officials will record ,easurements on a board.6. Fish are to be weighed free of snow, ice, hooks, line, weights, etc. Derby officials reserve the right to open any fish.7. Fish registration begins at 8am. Dead-line for fish registration is 2pm sharp.8. New Durham Parks & Recreation, the Town of New Durham, and Derby Officials are not liable for any injury or loss of life or property. All anglers are responsible for their own safety and knowledge of their surroundings.9. Littering or the pollution of any of NH lakes is against the law. Please keep America clean! Carry off what you carry on!10. ALL PARTICIPANTS HEREBY ACCEPT THESE RULES. 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM    Snow shoe race - Snow Shoe Race
Come have fun snow shoeing though the wood at meeting house trails. Doesn't cost anything to enter. fun for all ages. Adult will race first 10:15am and the kids will race at 10:45. or just snow shoe at your own pace. we will have hot coco and cookies. Prizes will be given out to winners of races.
 
11:00 AM - 1:00 PM    Chili Cook off - chili Cook off
On March 7th at the Fishing Game Club we will be having a chili cook off. Cook your favorite chili recipe and bring it in a crock pot or something warm. We will have judges that taste all the chili and the one with the most votes will be declared the best chili. Win will receive a prize.
 
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM    Music Exposition - Music Exposition
The New Durham Park and Recreation department will be hosting a "open mic/Music expotition for New Durham musicians interested in coming to show their talents!The music event( I will be working on) is slated for 4 to 6 PM at the New Durham school gym. We will have food and of course a stage setup and full equipment to use, and I encourage participants to bring  the instruments. We can sort out the details of what amplifiers we will use, or if you have to have your own, we will limit to just amplifiers.Let me know what you will want to do, list song names and duration. I would like to encourage original material, but for this show it does not matter to me.

This program will start October 10th.This program is for students in grades 4th-6th. It will run once a month for the school year.They will meet the second Thursday of every month at the library from 3:30 to 5:00pm. The Participants will experience Challenges from an escape room,  Group Team Challenges to a wide variety of other activities such as crafts, relay race, group games, Science Experiments and a whole lot more.
